1. We Receive Faith When We Choose to Believe in God.

Humans were born with a fee will, and you have a choice to believe in God, or not. This is when one either hears and loves the truth, which is the Word o God, or hears and decides not to love truth. It is that simple.

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation, (2 Corinthians 6:2, ESV).

4. Acknowledge the Need for a Savior.

Inviting Jesus to be your Lord and Savior is the first step towards salvation. The Lord can enter your heart and give you new life, (through the cleansing of His blood), when you acknowledge your need for a Savior.

5. Walk in Newness of Life.

A foundation of faith is laid in one’s heart by way of believing Jesus is our Savior. Then the Lord can cleanse us of all sin, which is unrighteousness, and give us a new start at life.

When you accept Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior, you are choosing to walk differently than the world. Sometimes, walking a very different path than anyone else in our life.

8. Use the Word of God as a Guide and Counselor.

But as you pray, and read your Bible, a new relationship with the Lord will open to you, and the Holy Spirit will begin to lead and guide you in the new path you have chosen. Then, your faith will soar.
