A Personal Welcome From the Founder
Hi, I'm Angie!
I'm a Christian author, pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, and founder of My Sun & Shade Ministries.
I created this little corner of the internet to share the encouragement I've found through God's Word and the lessons He's taught me along the way.
My hope is that women of every generation will find something here that strengthens their faith, encourages their hearts, and draws them closer to Jesus.
May your heart be filled with sunshine, even during life's seasons of shade.
Blessings,
Angie | My Sun & Shade Ministries
Uplifting Bible Verses for Strength and Encouragement
Psalm 77:6
"I call to remembrance my song in the night; I commune with mine own heart; and my spirit made diligent search."
2 Corinthians 12:9
"And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Psalm 27:13-14
"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."
Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Romans 8:31
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
Psalm 119:114
"Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word."
Romans 15:13
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
Romans 8:37-39
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
