The blog posts in this collection are articles that were written while pursuing a life of faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many posts were written while facing hard circumstances, while other posts were written with lots of excitement about life and opportunities.

 

What I have learned: when something special happens in our life, and it is evident there has been spiritual growth, we should keep a record of it, for it will remind us that God is always at work in our lives, perfecting us, and developing us into beautiful Christian women.

 

If we only take a moment, we will see that there are treasures of darkness for each one of us in whatever situation we may face. These gifts of the Spirit, like love, joy, and peace, could be ours forever if we open our heart to the workings of the Lord.

 

The Holy Spirit that resides within each born-again believer is always working within hearts and bringing things to the surface for cleansing purposes and for the perfecting of His Saints. The Lord uses difficult situations in our lives to do this very thing.

We will come to crossroads throughout our Christian walk, and it is our heart that will chose which way to go, and "Our heart is deceitful above all else, who can know it?" Scripture gives us this warning:

​

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips from you. Let your eyes look right on and your eyelids look straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left, remove your foot from evil." (Proverbs 4:24-27 NKJV)

The Lord never meant for us to walk alone in this life, He is our constant Friend, Confidante, and Giver of Hope and our ever-present help in time of trouble. May He be this and more to you in this lifetime.

​

Keep pressing on to know Christ more, develop a close relationship with Him, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.
