It's so easy to lose hope in what you feel God has called you to do, but you must stand firm in your faith. God's word says to cast our burdens, anxieties, grievances, offenses, cares, and fears off on Him and He will be your strength when you are weak. If you feel called to a certain ministry, and it just isn't happening the way you thought it would, then use this as an opportunity to exercise your faith in God. Write those issues down on a piece of paper, offer the paper up to the Lord, then crumple it up and throw it in the trash. When you cast the paper onto the Lord, resolve within yourself to trust Him with those things that were written on the paper. Believe He will meet with you according to His will and then, be at peace.

Sometimes that helps me get a better picture of what the verse is about. Make a commitment in your heart to read a chapter or two every day.
